Latest Software Upgrade
30th October 2008
Today we have released Build 1353 the latest upgrade of all versions of the U-MARQ Engraving Software, these can be Downloaded for our main website. This is a major release and includes general bug fixes and improvements in communications for U-MARQ Engraving Machine when running under ©Windows Vista. This build also includes the all new U-MARQ “Z” Profile function; we believe this to be a first for any engraving software in use today. If you wish to install this upgrade please ensure that you uninstall the previous version first.
WARNING this upgrade will only work with a Version 8 enabled Dongle, if in doubt do not install contact:

Quick Start Guides
1 st April 2008
New version 8 Quick Start Guides are available to download for the GEM-RX4, GEM-FX4, GEM-VX4 and the Universal-300. These are still work in progress but include Vista related things, Depth Profile function (used to be called “Z” Profile) and many other useful items. They can be downloaded from our main website. Do not forget you can also download the more advanced Reference Manuals for all the U-MARQ Software as well.

GEM Ring Attachment
GEM-RX, GEM-RX4 and GEM-VX4
28th February 2007
It has been brought to our attention, that some users are attaching and removing the “Ring Engraving Attachment”, without locking the Chuck using the spanner provided with the original purchase of the machine. This can cause excess strain to be put on the cylindrical gears, leading the premature failure. Please always use the Spanner provided and do not over tighten.
In the next couple of days we will be producing a short tutorial, which will be available to view or download, from our main website.

If you have purchased any of the machines listed below within the last 12 month, U-MARQ Ltd will honour the Manufacturers Warranty. To register your warranty please fax a copy of your original invoice to the address below, as proof of date of purchase. If you have a machine that is outside of the 12 month U-MARQ Ltd., manufacturers warranty, we can arrange for extended warranties, (depending on age and condition of the equipment), please again fax a copy of your original invoice, as proof of the age of the equipment.
Universal-300, Compact-200, GEM-FX or GEM-RX.
Please Note : Warranties will not be honoured, until the copy invoice has been received at our office in Milton Keynes.
