The GEM-RX4 Fact Not Fiction

The release of the GEM-RX4, is a major revamp of the already popular GEM-RX. The main modification is the replacement of the cable driven "Z" axis with a direct drive stepper and lead screw. This major modification will allow you to use fixed or floating depth control on the "Z" axis and provides for a much higher precision, when engraving. To compliment the "Z" axis modification, we have also fitted a new Cartridge Spindle assembly, this can be replaced by removing a single screw and can easily be returned to your Dealer for refurbishing if required. • The quality of manufacture is outstanding, with stainless steel linear rails.

• PTFE coated stainless steel lead screws with self-adjusting nuts.

• Three bearing spindle running at 14,000 rpm driven by a 48 watt brushless motor.

• Self centering vice.

• Flat work engraving area 160 x 75 mm (6.0” x 3.0”).

• Cylindrical work size up to 70 mm (2.75”) diameter, with Bangle attachment, without nose cone.

• Z axis travel 65 mm (2.50”).

• Engraving speeds up to 133 mm/sec using Diamond Drag, the fastest in the industry.
